New 100% recyclable packaging made from 100% recycled content
We joined forces between our R&D team, with our client Grupo Lacasa, to revolutionize the plastic sector with a food packaging, in this case the DoyPack bag of the well-known Conguitos, 100% recyclable and made of 100% recycled plastic.
This new and more sustainable DoyPack bag gives us the opportunity to enjoy the Conguitos that we love so much from Grupo Lacasa, while promoting the reuse of resources and reducing CO₂ emissions.

What was the challenge?
To transform the traditional DoyPack bag, which cannot be recycled because it contains polyester in one of its layers, into a fully recyclable package that incorporates 100% recycled materials.How did we do it?

Through ECOdesign, we use a mono-material structure with two layers of polyethylene (PE) to obtain a 100% recyclable packaging.
We use 100% of materials from circular polyolefins, that is, resins that at the end of their useful life have been recycled and certified. This is a new milestone in the manufacture of increasingly environmentally friendly packaging.
