At the Armando Alvarez Group we offer our customers the possibility to collaborate on specific projects that recover and integrate recycled raw materials into new products, and we call it circularity.

CIRCUITS
How do they work?
We offer our customers a collection service for the used plastic that is generated at their facilities
A certified waste manager recycles the used plastics.
At GAA we add the recycled material to new manufactured products in the 360° range
What do we achieve with these collection circuits?
We reduce the use of virgin raw materials by adding recycled material to the formulas.
We optimise resources by minimising waste generation.
We extend the product’s life cycle, reducing the chance of the plastic waste ending up where it is not supposed to.
We collaborate towards protecting ecosystems, by preserving the chain of custody and keeping the flow of materials under control.
Our certifications guarantee and prove traceability in the supply chain.

COLLECTION
CIRCUITS
for hollow body containers
These are certified recovery circuits, designed to guarantee the reuse and refill cycles for which they were especially ECOdesigned.
How do they work?
We have a Program to collect 60L or larger containers.
We offer our customers a collection service for their empty containers.
The containers are transferred to a preparation station, where they are washed and refurbished, and any worn accessories are replaced with original parts.
The containers are reused and reintroduced to the market. The containers may also be returned to the same client, so that they can be refilled with the same product, as many times as their durability allows.
At the end of the container’s useful life, when it can no longer be reused or refilled, it is sent to a waste manager to be recycled.
The recycled pellets return to the Group’s factories (Reyde, Plásticos Vanguardia and Reyenvas), to be used again to produce new containers.

for Industrial Film
These are reverse logistics circuits by which we agree with our customers to collect the plastic waste that is generated at their facilities, to recycle it and use it again for the same type of products, when the customer requests it.

for Agricultural Film
These are systems for collection, classification and processing of used agricultural film. The goal is to professionally manage used agricultural plastics, promoting a circular economy and preventing it from being abandoned in nature.
MAPLA, a not-for-profit organisation created by the main European agricultural plastic producers, among which is the Armando Alvarez Group, will soon be organising in Spain the management of waste from used agricultural film.
